Mini-Moscow
In the photo at left, what appears to be an aerial shot of a city is actually a precise model of the entire city of Moscow, Russia. The 12 x 12 meter, 1:500 scale model is stored in the Moscow city hall. The detail is amazing, and even more amazing is that the model is kept up-to-date. If a new building appears in real life, it is immediately recreated in the model.
