Most Ridiculous Tattoos Ever
Though everyone makes mistakes, usually goofs are not permanently branded onto your body. Unless you get a silly tattoo.
Authors Aviva Yael and P.M. Chen searched the country for the most ridiculous, outrageous, and often regrettable examples of body art for their new book, “NO REGRETS: The Best, Worst, & Most #$%*ing Ridiculous Tattoos Ever.”
This photo shows a tattoo on the chest of a really dedicated yuppie. This guy likely grew tired of paying $50 for an Izod Lacoste polo shirt, so instead he branded himself with the iconic alligator logo. The best part is he even included the registered trademark in the lower right, so he’s truly a walking billboard.
Amazing Real-Life MacGyver Moments
MacGyver is a television series that ran from 1985-92 and featured the laid-back, extremely resourceful secret agent MacGyver, played by Richard Dean Anderson. MacGyver favored brain over brawn in order to solve desperate problems using common items, along with duct tape and his Swiss Army knife. MacGyver’s ability to improvise complex solutions in life-or-death situations in mere minutes was a major attraction of the show.
Check out a list of problems solved by MacGyver
If MacGyver were real, the world would be a much safer place, and not just for people with mullets. Even though MacGyver is a fictional character, Cracked.com details five amazing real-life MacGyver moments. For example, in World War II, British spies copied top-secret maps of enemy troop movements using lemon Jello.
How to Solve Rubik’s Cube in 6 Seconds
The Rubik’s Cube was invented in 1974 by Hungarian Professor Erno Rubik. It launched worldwide in 1980 and became the world’s best-selling toy ever with over 300 million sold.
The Rubik’s Cube has 43 quintillion (43,252,003,274,489,856,000) possible configurations and only ONE solution. If you made a single turn of the Cube every second, it would take you 1,400 million million years to go through all possible configurations (or 100,000 times longer than the universe has existed).
The current World Record holder for fastest Rubik’s Cube solution is 17-year-old Toby Mao, who set a time of 10.48 seconds at the US National Championships in August 2006. Now Gizmodo has published instructions on how to solve the Rubik’s Cube in 6 seconds flat.
Seen on the Streets
Yankee Cruisah has more than 50 photos of funny street signs, billboards, construction workers and traffic scenes.
Not only are the photos humorous, they’re educational as well. For example, who knew that “RUFF RUFF” meant “city ordinance” in dog-speak.
